How It Works
Seek and ye shall find
The Red Deer DBA has seen the Festive Knight of GrupDesk hide 19 Christmas Epic Quest QR codes somewhere within Downtown Core in the kingdom of Downtown Red Deer.
Also hidden is the “Special” Christmas Knight (available starting December 12th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.)
Can you figure out which area he has hidden these Christmas Present QR Codes, using the clues provided?
Step 1
Register
To participate, simply register to become an active adventurer and treasure seeker. Once you have all the necessary information filled out, you’re ready to start searching.
Step 2
Search
Now the fun begins! QR codes will be hidden all over the downtown Red Deer area, you’ll have to hunt for them.
Step 3
Scan
Once you find a Christmas Present QR code, it’s time to get out your phone and start scanning. You can use the built-in camera app on your smart device to scan them.
Step 4
Earn
Each Christmas QR code you scan is a trophy. In order to qualify Grande Prize, you need to find and scan each locations’ trophy.

Explore the “secret” location and collect ALL QR codes
Step 3
SCAN
Scan each unique QR code with your smart device
Step 4
EARN
Earn each Christmas Present trophy’s and be entered to win the treasure!
Gotta find em all!
Participants can login to their Epic Quest profile where they will see their dashboard. This will show how many Christmas knights you’ve collected, and how many you have left.
Once you have a knight’s location, you can scan the QR code. Participants will be prompted to sign in to their Epic Quest profile in order to claim that trophy and become one step closer to winning awesome prizes!
